Kuvempu University Distance Education: The application form fill out procedure will begins from 25 June 2026* for all offered distance course at the Kuvempu University into the July 2026 academic year. The online application form is open for  10+ UG, PG, and PG Diploma courses in Commerce, Management, Arts, Science, and other fields. Kuvempu University is a public state university that was founded in 1987 and is located in the peaceful area of Shankaraghatta in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka. Kuvempu University Distance Education Admission 2026

Kuvempu University Distance Education will commence its admission process for their all offered courses into the July 2026 academic year from 25 June 2026* through a simple online registration system that is available on the official portal and last date to apply will be 31 July 2026*. The university offers a selection of popular distance learning programs in fields like arts, commerce, management, and education. The academic course fee for all courses ranges between INR 6,265 and INR 21,221. 

Unlike many universities, Kuvempu University does not conduct or require any entrance examination for distance education. Instead, students are admitted purely based on their qualifying exam marks. The university also provides merit-based fee concessions for a limited number of eligible candidates.

Kuvempu University Distance Education offers a variety of undergraduate courses in fields such as BA, BCom, BBA and BSc in specializations like History, Economics, English, Political Science, Sociology, Urdu, Education, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and more. Most UG courses have a duration of 3 years, which is spread across 6 semesters. 

The selection of candidates is purely merit-based, depending on the marks obtained in their qualifying examination. To be eligible, students must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board. The course fee for UG programs ranges between INR 6265 to INR 10865.

Kuvempu University Distance BBA

Kuvempu University offers a distance BBA course for a duration of 3 years. The university provides this course from its DDE portal in an offline mode of learning through weekend-based classes. Through this course, you will have specialisation in finance management, marketing management and others.

Candidates should have a 10+2 education in mathematics or commerce to take admission to this course. The admission process will be based on a merit list or first-come, first-served. Kuvempu Distance BBA course fee is INR 7,025 per annum.

Kuvempu University Distance BCom

Kuvempu University offers a BCom degree in distance mode. The duration of this course is 3 years and 6 semesters. The programme is approved by UGC and designed with industry-relevant topics. Like, financial accounting, human resource management, income tax law and practices, banking theory and practice, and so on.

For Kuvempu University Distance BCom admission, candidates should have a 12th standard education with 50% marks from a recognised board. The university gives admission on a direct or merit-based basis. The total fee for this course is INR 19,500.

Kuvempu University Distance Education PG Courses

Kuvempu University Distance Education offers a wide range of postgraduate (PG) courses in areas such as Education, History & Archeology, Sanskrit, Kannada, Commerce, Science, Hindu, Urdu, and more. PG courses offered at the university through distance education are MA, MSc, MCom, and MBA.

Students get selected after clearing the university’s merit list, which is based on their qualifying for the previous examination. Having a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks. The total course fee for all PG courses ranges between INR 8,317 to INR 22,941.

Kuvempu University Distance MBA

Kuvempu University distance MBA is a UGC-recognised course that comes with various specialisations. Candidates can pursue this 2-year-long course in marketing management, financial management, human resource management and general MBA. The university offers these specialised courses in the 3rd semester of the course.

A bachelor’s degree with 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criterion for this programme. To be selected, you have to clear a PGCET entrance test and INR 17,750 per semester is the course fee. The PGCET entrance exam is a state-level test conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is an offline mode test and INR 1,000 is the application fee for this exam.
